How to Fix a Slow Computer

Unfortunately, millions of computers throughout the World are running slower every day. It's a huge problem which can strike at any time, preventing you from being able to use your computer for everything from watching movies to playing games to even doing work.... but luckily, there's an easy way to fix the problem.

Most computers run slow for one simple reason - the 'registry'. This is the central database for your PC, and is where all your system settings & options are stored. Everything from your desktop wallpaper to your latest emails are housed in the registry, making it very important. The reason why it's this makes your computer slow is because this database often becomes corrupted and damaged, which makes Windows spend longer trying to access it, which slows your PC down.

The problem is that since Windows cannot run without all the files inside the registry, any corrupt or damaged ones are going to slow it down dramatically. And with your computer constantly using these registry files, 100's become corrupt every day, which all slow down your computer a little bit more. Many computers actually have 1,000's of corrupt files which makes them run really slow.

Luckily, the way to fix this is pretty simple. You just need to use a tool called a 'registry cleaner' to go into this database and clean out all the bad files that are in there. We could do this by hand, but because there are 100,000's of files inside the registry, it's simply impossible for any human to do on their own.
